When a child reaches his/her third birthday it’s not mere an achievement that should be celebrated or a memorable period of age rather it puts parents in a challenging position. Though they feel happy over this yet they are little bit more bothered about some unavoidable fears that what is hidden in child’s destiny.
At age 3, the kid is in a position to master range of skills that are essential. Like, an increase in vocabulary beyond 1000 words, trying to speak longer phrases and uttering all the time. These all are healthy signs that should be taken as a positive change.
Besides, by this age, most kids are potty trained but there can be situations other way round e.g. a child keeps the habit of bed wetting and that may continue till he reaches age of four or five. At this age, children are also learning the formal knowledge of letters and numbers.
An interest in learning colours is also generated in this age and mostly kids are able enough to tell their age by raising three fingers of hand.
The art of familiarizing with social skills also starts at this age. If a kid attends any daycare or preschool, then he very well demonstrates and understands that other kids in class are his/her friends.

If you didn’t ride in the winter, then you’ve probably spent your time watching T.V. or eating chips. Soon, a new mountain biking season will begin in spring. Your body may not be in shape, but at least these tips will ensure your bike is.
Before taking your bike out, the wear and tear on your components should first be checked and if it’s necessary, adjust them. Your chain is where you should start. It’s time to replace the chain if your haven’t replaced it in a year or so. Over time, the individual parts in the chain will get worn out, increasing its effective length.
The teeth is worn out to fit the profile of the chain because the chain no longer conforms to the cog and the teeth of the chain ring. Before the chain stretches too much, replace it in order to avoid replacing high priced cogs and chain rings.
Then the bearing surfaces should be checked. These include your bottom bracket, hubs, and the headset. With no play in the system, each of these should turn without a problem. Each cranking arm should be tightly snug before checking the bottom bracket. Next, hold on to the crank arm (not the pedal) and wobble it back and forth. If the crank arm binds or if you hear any clicking, then you need to adjust the bottom bracket.
Do the exact same thing with your hubs. The wheels should be taken off the bike then spin the hub axles and afterwards, you can do any free play or binding. If you feel binding or play, then adjustments should be made. To check the headset, start off by putting the newly adjusted wheels back on the bike.
Now, grab the front brake and pull and push the handle bars back and forth. Make sure there’s no play. If you lift the front end off the ground, the fork should turn very smoothly. If it feels rough, it needs to be either adjusted or replaced.
Check the condition of your housing and cables while you’re looking. Make sure the cables are rust free and the housing doesn’t have cracks or are kinked. Replace the device if you see any of this because your braking and shifting will be sluggish if you don’t.
Inspecting your brake pads is the last in your to-do list. Ridges or indicator marks are found in most pads and these will tell you if you need to replace the pads. Brake pads that are worn out will compromise both safety and braking efficiency.
You can go for a ride once you’ve gotten the tune ups out of the way. If your mountain bike is running better than ever, all that’s left for you to do is have fun.
